Hello! I just purchased the new Singer-Songwriter EZX, but am unable to use it. When I open EZdrummer 2, a dialogue pops up saying I can’t run Singer-Songwriter EZX because I need to have EZdrummer 2.2.2. (See 1st attachment). But, when I go into Toontrack Product Manager, it says I’m on 2.2.2 (See 2nd attachment). The Product Manager is actually incorrect because when I look in the plug-in, I’m actually on 2.2.1. I tried uninstalling EZdrummer and reinstalling it, but it didn’t fix anything. This is extremely frustrating. Thanks.
Was the ezdrummer.dll moved or copied since it was first installed? If you do a Windows search, do you have more than 1 ezdrummer.dll?

Hi Scott – Thanks for the quick reply! I haven’t knowingly moved the .dll at all. After searching, it does appear it is in 3 places though! (see screenshot). I imagine that is causing this issue? What’s the best way to remedy the situation?
Thanks for your help!
Hi again Scott. Fixed it! Just replaced the oldest .dll with a newer one and deleted the two locations not used by my DAW. Thank you so much! Really appreciate it.

As long as the one you kept is the one that the updater replaces on update, you should be fine. If it doesn’t, just remember this thread lol
