Hello,
After several months of not using EZdrummer 3, I went to open it on my Mac Mini Sonoma 14.2.1 desktop to find beats to drop and drag into Logic like I’ve done in the past. EZdrummer did not open up and I got this message: “The installed resources and the plug-in are not the same version! Plug-in version: 3.0.6. Version of resources: 3.0.5. Please reinstall EZdrummer 3.”
I looked to reinstall EZdrummer 3 and saw no option for version 3.0.5 in the Product Manager or in my online account products page and saw no obvious route to reinstall.
I am not very good at navigating computers and software – any advice on how to proceed? Thanks.
Hi,
close any instances of EZdrummer 3 standalone or Logic, then open the Product Manager and under EZdrummer 3, click Show Details. To the right of the version 3.0.6 entry, there’s a ‘Download’ button. Click it to Download and when it’s ready, click the small menu to the right of that button and select ‘Install’.
After the Installer is finished, please relaunch Logic or Standalone.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced Cow and Scott EshlemanIn addition to John’s post, after you have installed EZ Drummer and reopened Logic, go into the plug-in manager, and ensure that the installed version matches.
Upon launch, Logic should revalidate EZ Drummer.
