I tried all the passwords I could remember, so I clicked ‘forgot password’. Got the email and clicked to reset password. Next was a screen with my name address and a space for a “VAT NUMBER” ???? What this is, is unknown. But, then there was this statement {From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details.} the edit~~~~~account details is underlined.
I clicked on it and was sent to my account information with the possibility to change my password. THAT does not work, because I have forgotten my password and it requires me to type it in the box. WTF?
I presume that you’re good now?
I can see that you have downloaded a bunch of installers after you posted this.

Hi, the same thing happened to me.
I have downloaded the installer but i cannot input my password because I forgot it, or wrote down an error. I submitted an email address, and i received a “reset password” link. It took me to the website login password editor, but in order to reset my password I need to use my forgotten password. Please advise.
