I think this is a bug in SD3.

    Hey,

I’m getting this over and over again. I’m finished with my drums, I tuned the Snare drum to my liking, hit process and it sounds great. When I bounce the track as audio files the audio file of the snare sounds unprocessed again.

My bounce settings are 24 bit, I bounce the microphone channels.. bleed enabled.

Do I have to bounce the output channels to get the processed sound as an audio file? If so, why??? ?

    Thanks for your help!

The picture you sent has the setting bounce every microphone channel PREMIXER selected. Wouldn’t that be the issue?

Jochen, has tuned/pitched the snare and then done the high quality rendering called Process in SD3 and Fix in SD2. It seems that in SD3 the Fixing is not done consistently for all hits during a bounce. So it is not a matter of processing done in the mixer.

    Hey,

thanks for your reply. I think that couldn’t or at least shouldn’t be a problem. I want the audio tracks without going through the mixer. But the sound itself of te snare shouldn’t be affected by that.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have a walkaround for that when I bounce the tracks in my DAW and I solo the channels in SD3 individually.. of course that costs a lot of time.

Is there any chance of this bug getting fixed in the near future?

Well, I think I have fixed the bug but when a new update can be released is another matter. That process will take a couple of weeks at the best.

I checked and the best case scenario looks unlikely.
