    Hi everyone,

Trying to install all my software to my new MacBook Pro. When it comes to EZDRummer the message says:

This package is incompatible with this version of macOS.

If I buy the upgrade to EZDrummer 3 – will it solve the problem? Does it mean I can install the ESD 3 directly?

    Thank you!

    Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)

Download and install Toontrack Product Manager and install EZDrummer 2 using Product Manager not the downloaded EZD2 .dmg file.

FWIW, EZDrummer 3 is a great trade-up from EZD2, lots of new features.

I installed EzDrummer through the product manager, but it isn’t showing up in Cubase 12 on the Mac Studio M2.

AFAIK Cubase 12 will run vst2 plugins under Rosetta 2 mode,  but not natively.

everything worked fine without errors but when I installed EZD2 + the upgrade to EZD3 I got an error message . „Problem with your audio unit……“ I uninstalled EZD2, but still the same. Do I have to remove some files manually?

the only thing I changed was installing EZD 3

Did you try to validate EZ Drummer in the Logic Pro 11  plugin manager?

Could you also check Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and make sure EZDrummer 3.compnent is installed?

In addition to Brad‘s post, if it is not there, then re-run the installer from the product manager and select Customize and ensure that the AU is checked.
