Trying to get a close as possible to the drums on “so sad about us”

I’m doing a cover of the song “so sad about us” using the version by The Jam.

Is there a good way to go about this to get the sound and feel of that song with chorus, verse, etc.?

If you don’t want to settle for some random MIDI groove, I think you’ll have to program it writing the notes down yourself
