Trying to evaluate but can’t get the setup right

I have my Roland TD-07 connected but have an issue I can’t seem to get past. When I click the snare on the graphic, it sounds nice. However, when I hit my snare on my E-Drum it doesn’t sound the same; it’s quieter and kind of muted. I know I have it set to trigger properly because if I change the tuning then it changes for both (mouse click and E-Drum strike).

 

Why don’t they sound the same?

When you click, you preview at 100% velocity. The equivalent of you bashing your kit. Adjust sensitivity in your roland or in the Edrums settings in EZDrummer. Settings > Edrums.

To fix this, you need to adjust the sensitivity (Sensitivity), curve type (Curve Type) and threshold (Threshold) in the Trigger Settings section of the TD-07 module, to ensure that the real force creates the same sound as when clicking the mouse.
