No. Don’t try to open the .dll. Just take note of the location where it was installed. (See pic below)
I don’t know the default location EZdrummer installs the .dll when Sonar is installed. On my laptop (Vista 32-bit), it gets installed to C:Program FilesVstPlugins. But, like I said, if Sonar creates a VST folder somewhere it may get installed there.

i found it at:
c>prog files>vst plug ins>toontrack>64 bit
(the same place as in your comp. that’s probably the default location at least for vista/windows 7)
i was then able to add it to the vst folder scan, then open and authorize it.
it seems to be working right now.
let me apologize again for getting irritable. that was becoming a lengthy process due to my unfamiliarity with it.
