I completed both part 1 and part 2 successfully, although I had to do it manually without program manager.
Now I’m at part 3 and when I start the install application the install directory is blank with no check in white box, and the only option available is “Close”,
“Update” is greyed out???
I downloaded all 3 with the PM, but had to move each one from C drive to D drive afterward (not much room on c drive). The program manager didn’t give me an option of which drive to download to, it just started downloading to C drive (why don’t they have a right click option?).
Anyway, since manually install isn’t working, I went to the PM and it appears as part 3 wasn’t downloaded (download isn’t greyed out), and I don’t see how I can install from there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Paul

Hi,
the Program Manager’s Preferences lets you specify where you you want your Downloads folder and it also lets you move already downloaded parts to this new location.
Have you tried opening SD3 and loading the Basic Library parts first before trying to install additional ones?

Hi John, thanks for the tips with PM!
Yes I’ve opened SD3 after installing parts 1 & 2, and tested the SD3 kit as well as changing a few drum parts. Seemed to be fine.
The above problem occurred when I tried to install part 3.

OK,
if you have changed your ‘Downloads’ folder now, can you please try to move the downloaded part 3 folder into your new ‘Downloads’ folder, restart the PM and then select to download Part 3 again?
The PM should check the Downloads folder and compare it to what’s on the server, so the new download should be fairly quick.
Then when it’s done, run the Installer from PM.

Thanks John, it worked!!
Can I delete all the install downloads now (keeping the install folder)?

What’s in the Downloads folder can be deleted, yes.
What’s in the ‘SL-SuperiorDrummer3’ folder, no. That’s your library. If you are unsure, the plugin lists libraries and their paths under Settings > Libraries. There you see the path to where SD3 loads the library.
