Was hoping this would work with SD3.1.1 update, but still doesn’t.
In Cubase 9.5, Mac OS10.9.5, the Key Command Opt+Space (listed as Alt+Space in manual) does not play or pause the transport. No key command that I have tried works. I checked for a conflict and the Cubase default for Opt+Space was used to play a selection range, so I replaced it with a different command, but Superior still does not recognize it.
Space works for Cubase transport, so Follow Host works fine. It also stops playback if pressed twice (to start and stop host) in Superior when Follow Host is turned off, but nothing starts or pauses play if Follow Host is deactivated, in any of the tabs.
The keyboard shortcuts (as stated in the S3 manual) only work in S3 standalone, not when using as a plugin in a DAW.
Keyboard shortcuts don’t pass through the DAW to a plugin all that easily.

Okay. Thanks. Thought that was only Global Shortcuts. Other key commands work fine though depending on focus, even when duplicated in DAW, like 1&2 for tools. Would be great if OPT+Space (or SHFT+space) worked for local play/pause as is my most common KC need.
*edit*
Actually all the other Shortcuts work. OPT+Space is the only one I have found so far that doesn’t, so I’m not certain that you are correct about them only supposed to work in Standalone.
Thanks for the feedback. As Scott writes, there have been some problems with using space in combinations with different DAW:s, but I think we can solve it and we will look at this. Hopefully, we can make it work for the next release (without leaving any promises!)
