Hi,
I have ez player installed with ez drummer. I can construct a song in the arranger part of ez player fine.I am having a problem saving the song,so I can return later and do more work on it. How do I save the clips into a folder, please give me the easy version(I am new to this so I don’t understand all the lingo yet). Also can this folder be used by my tracktion 3 DAW ? In other words after I get the song complete how do I get it into tracktion 3 (just drag and drop ?)
Thanks
Hi,
if you construct something with EZplayer Pro in your DAW, this should be saved with your Song/Project, giving you full access to what you have created at a later occasion.
You can also export what you have composed in EZplayer Pro by lassoing the parts in the Arranger and drag-and-drop back to the EZplayer Pro browser.
This MIDI file can be imported into your DAW or put on an EZplayer Pro.

OK ,I got the ez player arranger to work drag and drop into the btrowser, that was easy enough, thank you. I have open ezplayer in my tracktion 3 drop down box(filters) I can drag the constructed drum part from the ez player browser into an available track, but when I drop it into one of the tracktion tracks,it appears to be on the track,I just can’t hear it playing ?? When I use ez drummer from the same filters menu in tracktion it loads up and works perfect.
Is your bridge set up properly? in other words can you hear anything coming out of EZdrummer when playing grooves from EZplayer? If not that’s your problem.
Or perhaps you are dragging to the wrong track. You should drag to the track assigned to YFDS (EZdrummer).

Rogue,
Thank you for the help. The problem was I had to drag the ezplayer saved midi track from the browser onto the ez drummer track. Also in tracktion 3 you have to make sure that the ez drummer filter comes before the ezplayer filter on the track you are creating on. So both ezplayer and ez drummer have to be opened in tracktion 3. Cool !!
hum, if you create a single stack yes but you can and probably would want to set them on different tracks. Otherwise I would expect no preview possible before drag and drop… I’m not a Traktion expert however.

Ok, I checked Traktion a minute ago and routing is a breeze (at least to drive a single instance of YFDS) so here is the official walkthrough that will be included in an upcoming manual:
C- Setting up Mackie Traktion
EZplayer requires Traktion version 2 or later (previous versions do not support key
functionality necessary for operations).
Before you start, you should make sure that you are familiar with how to operate
Virtual Instruments in your host and that you have a copy of YFDS (Your Favourite
Drum Sampler) configured for Audio and MIDI playback.
1) Inserting the plugin:
• insert EZplayer as a filter on a new track
2) Setting up:
• Insert YFDS as a new filter on a separate track
• Select the EZplayer track and change its properties so the destination output is the track where you inserted YFDS
• In EZplayer, choose the appropriate MIDI Output format for YFDS
• Select a groove in EZplayer and press Play
3) Building a drum track:
• Once you have found the right groove, simply drag and drop the MIDI file to the
MIDI track with YFDS in your Arrangement.
• Add additional grooves from EZplayer to create your new drum track.
Take care!
