I have drum audio in a Pro Tools session with a dense tempo map that I’ve imported into SD Tracker. I’ve imported the tempo map into Tracker and set up my triggers. The triggered SD drums play in sync with Follow Host enabled and I have no issues. Starting with the bass drum, when I export it to an SD Track and play with Follow Host enabled the MIDI is now out of sync with the Pro Tools session. I have the original tracks in Tracker muted to make sure only the MIDI in the Track is triggering. I checked export with tempo map when I added the bass drum to the Track. The bass drum MIDI looks to be gradually speeding up. I dragged the MIDI block out of the Track and into a MIDI track in Pro Tools and the sync is incorrect as it is in Superior Drummer’s Track.
Any idea as to what might be going on and why the triggers are fine when playing in Tracker but out of sync when exported to MIDI in SD’s Track?
Thanks,
JoeM
Hi,
if you Import the same Tempo map on the SD3 Song Track, does it make a difference?

Thanked by: JoeHi John,
Thanks for your quick reply. I tried importing the Tempo map as you suggested but it actually put it further out of sync. I think I found out what the issue was. I was exporting with the Tempo setting at “Follow Host or Song Track”. I tried exporting with the Tempo setting at “Tempo Map from Selected Song Track Tab” and it looks to syncing up ok now. I’ll have to read up on the difference in the manual.
Thanks again,
JoeM
