I record my drums with individual high quality mics. Snare, kick etc have there own mic with minimum bleed. I will start by telling you that I have all plugins killed so only superior drummer is open. I have the tracks set up multi out in protools and print them from the mixer and it works amazing. The only issue I started seeing is that the snare is not printing perfect on time with the transient of the OG snare and again very clean snare transients and track is 95% perfect in tracker and looks to be right on the snare transient. A few here and there need to be moved but that’s no big deal and you cant not “hear a double hit or a flam” however it should print right where I spent all my time timing the og drum performance right? I am not killing the ram or anything the computer is barley using any power. Does any have a solution, maybe bouncing offline or something of that nature?
The goal is I want it to print just like I timed the performance not being slightly off etc lol. Please let me know but all drivers are updated and or anything like that. I know having plugins add latency but I made sure every plugin is completely killed. When printing the multiout there is no delay sound are or anything but seeing it not perfect line up with the snare transient is throwing me off.
