Hi,
How can I get the MIDI file that is exported using Tracker to be exactly the same length as the WAV file(s) it was tracked from?
Currently the MIDI file that gets exported is cut from both ends as the original tracks have some silence on both ends and I guess the tracker’s export feature doesn’t think those silent sections are important. However, especially cutting from the beginning of the MIDI file becomes an issue as I want to use my original recordings side by side with SD3’s samples and I would need to align them perfectly together.
What DAW are you using? Different DAWs handles empty midi regions differently. When I try this in Logic, it automatically cuts away empty bars in the beginning and in the end of the MIDI file. If I drag the same MIDI file to the song track of SD3, the silence in the beginning will be kept but the silence in the end is removed.

I use Logic 10.4.8 and have the same problem… everything is fine playing whilst in tracker…. SD3 follows perfectly when in tracker and follow host is selected. But when you go to the EXPORT MIDI tab and drag the track to the Song Creator…. and then into the project (or export the midi file from Tracker) it doesn’t start from the beginning of the project. it is impossible to get the drums in time ( i want to use replaced kick snare and toms and have existing overheads) Please advise
Cheers
