Tracker: import stereo loops

How can you import stereo loops into the tracker page? They always end up as mono on the tracks …

The audio is converted to mono for the analysis algorithm to work correctly.

May I ask why you want it to be in stereo? The program is designed for dragging in audio, converting it to MIDI, drag the MIDI to the song track and then blend it with the original audio (which should be kept on a track in the DAW). If you want to use the audio file from the tracker in a mix scenario while it’s in SD3 it can be tricky, since the interface isn’t designed for this, and hence lacks some features needed for that scenario.

yeah, guess i am too much of a a newbie …. tried importing some audio for midi groove converts, but the results were not really worthwhile ..
