Are you referring to the track options on the Song Track? If yes it’s to create different takes of a song.

Yes that’s what I was asking about.  Thank you.  It’s not really covered in any tutorial and I thought perhaps it was a way to “layer different drum tracks simultaneously but apparently that’s not the case.  THANK YOU for the answer.
