Total Authorizations

I have ezD. Had it since it came out in 06 or 07. Can’t really remember. But since that time I have built and replaced several different music pc’s. I have just built a new one and am putting ezd on it.

I have 3/4 Total Authorizations. I am assuming that means I have only one Total Authorizations left.

What happens when I have no  Total Authorizations left and I need to authorize again?

Thanks for the reply Scott. I saw this when I looked through the FAQ. But it doesn’t really say what happens when you run out of Total Authorizations. Which is what I was asking.

But from your reply and link to the same article, I can assume that when I have no Total Authorizations, I will have to contact support in this matter.

When you run out of authorizations (used 4 of 4 total authorizations) and you need a 5th authorization you would:

– click the ‘Contact Support’ button at the bottom of the FAQ I linked above
– include the correct serial number(s) for the product(s) you would like to request authorization codes for, as well as a short explanation as to why you need new code generations added to your account, for example following a machine upgrade or crash.
– PRIOR to contacting support, remove the inactive codes from your Toontrack account.

The tech support would then free up an authorization code so you can authorize your new system.

Or, were you asking what would happen when you reach 4 out of 4 total authorization? In that case, nothing would happen until you want to authorize for a 5th time and then you would follow the FAQ or my summation of the FAQ above.

Yes that’s the question!! And that’s what I figured from your response. Till I get to that point, I will not fret about it!!

All I really wanted to know would I still be able to use the software after I reached my max of 4 out of 4 total authorizations. And I see that there is. I may be up to SD by then!! But ezd is just so ez!!
