    They appear in mine.
Have you downloaded AU and VST?
You aren’t just looking in the Ableton’s own plug-in and instrument section are you? 3rd party plug-ins are in a different folder in the Ableton browser.

    Hi,

both VST and AU versions of EZdrummer and EZmix works fine here in Live Lite 8.2.7.
Please try a re-scan of the plugins folder in Live.

I have tried that. I also uninstalled both programs and re-installed them paying close attention to what folder they were installed to. Still no luck. I can run ezmix as a stand alone but Live wont recognize it. ARRGG!! Is it supposed to even show up in the plug-in browser or is it accessed elsewhere?

After a rescan of plugins one would assume you are inserting/opening as an FX not instrument plug in .
In Logic Pro you do not open an effect insert the same as an instrument so one would assume Live would be no different in that respect.

Thanks for helping me with this but its just not there. My plug-in browser just shows Line 6 plug-ins and ezdrummer. I dont understand. For some reason though, when i run the vst scan, ezmix shows up in the bar at the bottom of the screen with everything else. Just not the plug-in browser. Ive made sure that the .dll file is in the vst folder and everything.

I have the same problem. Standalone version works, the plug in dll not. I’m going crazy.

You should have a vst and a vst3 pulldowns. Look under the vst thenin toontrack. It should be in there.

Just in case this is still an issue, here is how I got it to show up in my Ableton Live 11 Lite application.

1 – Take note of where the EZ MIX 2 application is being installed

2 – In Ableton Live, go to Options –> Preferences –> Plug Ins –> Turn the Use VST 2 Plug-in-Custom Folder option to ON –> Hit Browse –> Find the root VST Plugin folder that your  EZ Mix 2 software was loaded  (for me it was C:\Program Files\VST Plugins) and Click Select folder.

I didnt have to restart Ableton and it showed up… but you may have to.

    That should get you in.

The problem I am having, is that EZmix2 overrides and erases all the other plugins in that particular VST folder. It doesn’t affect the plugins in the VST3 folder. Those are fine. But if I have other plugins in the VST folder, they are removed every time I go to Options –> Preferences –> Plug Ins –> Turn the Use VST 2 Plug-in-Custom Folder option to ON –> Hit Browse –> EZMix2 erases all my other VST plugins. I don’t understand it. I have even tried putting EZMix2 in a different folder than all the other plugins thinking it may be conflicting that way, but it still doesn’t work.
