I’m experiencing the same problem with Toontrack Solo 1.3.0, Mac OS X 10.6.6, and a Cakewalk UM-1G MIDI cable. The UM-1G shows MIDI data being transmitted, the Mac’s Audio MIDI Setup app shows the MIDI data being received. Everything works fine with EZdrummer in Logic Express. Nothing is being triggered in Toontrack Solo. I can see and select the UM-1G in Toontrack Solo’s Options>MIDI Devices and can select the checkbox, but like Davoe the checkbox is unselected if I go back after clicking OK. In the Mixer window, nothing is listed in the EZD 1>MIDI Device… selection menu.

    Any suggestions?

I can change the check box for different devices, but it never gets saved when I press “OK”.

is this with the 32-bit? if so, please start solo in 64-bit and set your MIDI devices. Close solo and start again in 32-bit (if you need EZDrummer). Your devices will be remembered.

Yes it was in 32-bit, because EZDrummer will only load in 32-bit. Are you saying we’ll have to load into 64-bit every time we want to change MIDI devices? Is there going to be an update to remedy that?

OK, that workaround works. But hoping there will be a fix in the next rev…..
