Hi,
Updated my toontrack solo to 1.3.2.1 and now it tells me it can’t find a drummer.
It is, of course, absolutely right, since I am by no means one. I mean, I can hardly hold a somewhat steady 4/4 for more than 10 seconds.
However, this hasn’t been a problem since I got SD3, which has been running smoothly for a while.
But now, it tells me to locate a vst folder, to find said drummer (I guess). I can find my vst folder (although I don’t use vst’s for anything) but it doesn’t care. No drummers will return my call.
Here’s the big question:
A google search comes up with a bunch of suggestions to locate a dll file and or something in application support. None of which works.
Where do I have to point toontrack solo, to re-hire that evasive drummer guy?
I’m on mac 10.13.6 btw
Solo was a program to host old Toontrack samplers. EZD1 and S2.
Since the latest version, EZD2 and S3, were released, they have standalone versions that do not require Solo at all.
That is why Solo will not host S3.

Yes, it’s true. I see now that my stand alone version of sd3 still works fine. I need to go to bed.
In the unlikely event, others find themselves in a similarly silly situation, I’ll leave this here.
