Can you upload pics of both preset menus so we can see what you are talking about?

    Cheers and many Thanks!

You have different libraries open in each. One shows the default S3 sound library and it’s presets. The other shows Custom & Vintage with it’s presets.

Ah! I  just loaded the SD3 Default Library and all the “missing” default presets showed up!

Man thank you so Much Scott!

Drums and mixer presets are library specific since they load those specific library’s drum kit pieces. So, C&V presets will only show when you load the C&V library. Same goes for the default S3 library. They will not list when other SDXs are loaded.

My “Toontrack Presets” do not show up in Stand Alone or in my DAW. I am set on Superior Drummer 3 Default.

What Toontrack Presets are you referring to?

I just noticed that I am in the Cubase part sorry about that…I am in Protools on Mac so the question is still the same in Stand Alone mode.

I am watching the Groove three SD3 tutorial and I noticed in the Library presets area drop down there was a preset section called Toontrack Presets which are not in my core library set up.  That is screen shot 1. Screen-Shot-2019-05-09-at-7.30.21-PM

My Library in Screen shot 2 Screen-Shot-2019-05-09-at-2.39.42-PM-1

does not contain that  Set of Presets. The instructor explained all the Presets in the preset library were contained in The Core download. I have all of the SD3 downloads.

Thank for responding so quickly on my other request.

    Hi,

please close SD3 and Pro Tools.

Next, open the Product Manager and go to the SD3 Library Part 1 and ‘Show Details’.

Download and install the ‘Sound Library Update & Presets’ 1.1.3.

Have you run this update before? Or the 1.1.2 update?

When it’s done, please open SD3 standalone and check

    BR,

    John

I am already on update SD3  3.1.4. and all my updaters and installs have been successfully downloaded and installed.

SD3 works great, that one Toontrack Presets file is the only thing I do not have. After watching the Groove 3 vid I noticed

it had some really great presets in that particular group of preset which were not available anywhere else in the program.

    Hope you can help.

The Presets  ToonTrack Presets still does not show up after  download install of  1.1.3 update from a fresh computer robot with nothing running but Toontrack Product manager.

Your preset menu looks the same as mine. Those first sub-menus, Clean to Special Tools, all contain presets made by Toontrack. I guess, at some time, there were fewer of them and they all sat in a single sub-menu named Toontrack.

Ya I kind of suspected something like that.

    Thank you for your help.

I was viewing a Groove3 vid about SD3 and that was where I noticed it. Video was probably made when SD3 first came out.
