Hi!
I’ve been using Logic Express and Toontrack (EzDrummer) for years. Suddenly if I have Logic playing and I’m playing with eDrums, EzDrummer’s sounds get distorted in a while. If I first start the Logic track and then switch the Toontrack program to the front, everything works fine. But it used to work perfectly without changing what program is the active program. This may seem to be minor problem, but it really isn’t ’cause while playing a gig, I have to control Logic, not the Toontrack.
I have Mac 10.10.4. RAM memory is okay all the way (green). I used “repair your permissions” using the Disk Utility (got an error regarding SoundFlower).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance 🙂
Hi,
are you using Toontrack solo with EZdrummer 1 at the same time as you are running Logic? Or am I getting it wrong?
Which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer interface?
Which exact version of Logic?
Which audio and MIDI interface are you using?
Hardware Buffer size settings?

Sorry John for delayed answer.
Logic version is Express 9.1.8
I just updated to EZdrummer 2 and the problem still exists.
Tried all buffers sizes. Usually I use 64 or 128.
Yes, I use those at the same time (Logic and EZ2). I have Saffire pro 40 interface. Drumset is Roland TD-15 . I use these when playing live. Logic playes some sequences (stereo track) and click for me.
Last night we tried to the following: We used Mac’s built-in audio for Toontrack and Saffire for Logic. Then everything seemed to work ok… But I’ve used Logic, EZ1, Roland & Saffire for years without problems.
