A retrigger of authorization is usually caused by a change in hardware configuration. This can include activating/deactivating the NIC.

For example, I open EZdrummer for the first time with the internet card turned off and a computer ID is generated. I turn the NIC on and authorize EZdrummer on the Toontrack website. If I don’t turn the NIC off before starting EZdrummer, Windows will report a change in the computer ID and EZdrummer will trigger the authorization screen.

    The solution:

Either authorize EZdrummer with both NIC states [(on/off) this will use 2 authorizations] or make sure you only use EZdrummer with the NIC in same state as it was when first authorized.

I’m confused about this NIC thing.  Excuse my ignorance but whta’s a NIC?  The only thing I can think I did differently is sometimes I turn off the wireless capability of the laptop so I don’t get viruses as it iss usually only used for Sonar and music.
