Does EZdrummer 3 support time signature changes yet? I have a song that I’m sketching out inside of EZ3 – verse, chorus, break, etc. – and I have a section that goes from 4/4 to 2/4. I insert a 2/4 measure on my timeline in Studio One 5 then insert a 4/4 signature. When I do that the timeline in EZdrummer stays in 4/4 and the timeline itself, not the playback, is out of sync with the timeline of Studio One.
For example at the begining of measure 50 in Studio One I insert a time signature change of 2/4. Then at measure 51 I change the time sig back to 4/4 and the measure numbers are all correct and in place. EZdrummer now reflects the measure 5o as a four beat measure with silence on beat one and two and then continues on for the rest of the song as if beat three is beat one. Annoying when I am locating different sections of the song.
This is the first time I’m actually using the midi timeline in EZdrummer. Normally I will find a drum pattern close to what I hear in my head and then just drag it into Studio One and make my changes there.
I am not a lazy fellow. I’ve done my searching, Googling, tarot card flipping and tossing of bones and cannot find if EZ3 supports time signature changes in stand alone mode.
If it doesn’t… it should.
thank you for taking the time to read this. Doc

Thanked by: dokrok5150If you have set the Tempo and Time signature changes in your host, you can export a MIDI file – what the MIDI file contains is not important, it’s for Time Sig and Tempo changes only – and then Import these changes to your Song Track in EZdrummer 3. Go to the Track menu, then ‘Import Tempo/Time Signatures from MIDI file’.
