What version number shows on your EZD2 interface in Cubase? Is it the same as in EZD2 Standalone? Has any ezdrummer.dll been moved manually since it was first installed?

Moving and/ or copying the .dll will cause this problem.

To fix, find the 2.02 .dll version that Cubase is finding and delete it manually. Then open the Standalone EZD2 and make note of the 2.1.8 .dll plugin install path from the EZD2 Help menu. Go to Cubase and add that path to that .dll from the Cubase Plugin Manager.
