Can anyone explain to me the logic behind the order in which midi grooves are listed ? It`s the same in EZD2, SD2 and SSD3, You`ll get a song title with fill 2,3,5 pre chorus 3 etc then a different song verse 2,3,5 etc all mixed up. To find all the other versions of verses, fills etc you have to scroll down past multiple songs with different tempo`s.
I would have thought the logical way to do it would be to have all the different parts of a song/groove grouped together and then move on to the next one ? Am I missing something blindingly obvious ?
You can sort the grooves using any category you choose. In the Grooves window and in the core library at the top of the window I just choose the Genre, Play style, and Type I want for this project/section/whatever. Then sort the grooves themselves by Family. I am now looking at the Family called “4th Floor 180 bpm”. The order I am look at shows Chorus1, Chorus2, Chorus3, etc. for that Family. Same for the other Groove names as well; PreChorus1, PreChorus2, etc.
Hope this helps!
