As if I didnt already have enough grey hair…

Everything works til it doesnt, right?

When I try to load in my DAW (Studio One 4.5 or Cubasde 8.5) I get message, “The installed resources and the plug-in are not the same version!”  Works in Standalone.  Path in  Standalone is C://..Documents/CommonFiles/VST3 (add this path in DAW as well)

I updated something a MIDI lib in Toontrack Manager and now it wont open in DAW.  Instead I get “The installed resources and plugin are not the same version”

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no luck.  Even tried installing on a non-C Drive and pointing DAW there.

Ive told S1 to re-scan plugs.  I’ve deleted all folders that had any ref to Toontrack and then re-installed.

    WTF?!!

I have a newly installed .dll.  Where do I put it?

My studio is useless with out drums.

    Please help.

    I’ve

    Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.2.4
    Operating system: Windows 10

In studio one look in the options > locations > VST Plug-ins.

Make note of the folders (other than the one that is listed in SD standalone help> plug-in path)

Chances are there is an superiordrummer.dll in one of them. Remove and restart Studio One.

    Sorted!

Old .dll files laying around in strange places (like Steinberg folders), and an ezdrummer.dll in the same location as SD3 were the culprits.

    Thanks, fellas!
