On Sunday night I bought a license for SD3 and started downloading it through the Product Manager. Roughly 24 hours later my SD3 Library Part 1 is still stuck in the verification loop. I sent Toontrack a tech support request and they answered a couple of hours later:
“Thanks for the email.
We do see some files getting hung up on our server. We have purged them and it should resume downloading upon launch of the Product Manager. ”
So I restarted Product Manager aaannnddd….
…same problem. Still stuck in the verification loop. I sent a reply and haven’t heard back. I started another ticket and haven’t heard back. This is the first product I’ve purchased from Toontrack; is this technical issue normal? Is this tech support tempo normal? I know they don’t have a contact phone, and I can understand why, but how much time should I reasonably expect to resolve this issue?
It hasn’t happened to me and I hadn’t heard of this. Hopefully someone will get back to you soon.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
