I used a mono wav file with kick – snare – hi hat … ..I loaded (added) the same file 3x to accomplish three instruments. when I converted they came out in 3 separate files… This is OK …. but the tempo was greatly slowed down and the 3 midi tracks themselves did not seem to even sync to each other… Is there a way to have all 3 elements wind up on one midi track? and is there a way to mach the tempo of the wav file you are working with?
Thanks so much for any help I am using windows xp plenty of head room and cpu

Select MIDI Type 0 in the Convert window when bouncing to MIDI.

From the manual:
…set the Target Tempo you want for the MIDI file created. Set the tempo to correspond to the tempo that the audio file was tracked to in your original project. If you have used audio files of a live performance where no ‘click track’ was used, choose any value, for example 120BPM, and make sure you set the tempo to the same value in the project you import the resulting files in. This will ensure proper sync when imported into your DAW.
