First post-be kind…..
So unless I am a total idiot and doing something wrong I have a question.
When I drag an existing EZ drum track into an existing Logic session, the tempo of the drums change. For instance: I initially built the drum track by itself in EZD2 and added it as a wav file. Then after I learned how to export/use the multichannel function when I drag the drum track into Logic 9 the tempo changes. It’s crazy weird. Even when I start the whole thing from scratch to test what I am doing wrong as soon as I move it onto Logic the tempo changes.
Major confusion going on here…..I have successfully added tracks I converted to wav files and the tempo does not change. Only when I want to add it as a EZD2 track in the multichannel function to have each of the drum tracks separate.
Thoughts? Help?
Hi,
my first question would be: Why don’t you use EZdrummer 2 as a plugin in Logic instead of using the standalone to export WAV files?
You can save a Project in the Standalone, which you can open in the AU Instrument plugin inside Logic.
Then you set the Tempo in Logic, before the MIDI is committed to audio.
