Hi,
I’ve been going through my different SDX librarys to get them setup with my Roland TD27 and notices some weird behaviour when mapping notes to sounds.
e.g. on my TD27 Module midi note for Aux3 is 30 but when checking midi monitor on SD3 I see this is receiving note 27 (was starting to lose my mind as multiple triggers are seen as note 27 in SD3)
Running a midi monitor program on my host I see the midi sent from the edrum module is received by the computer correctly but SD3 sees it as a different note.
Any info or help with this?
Thanks, in advance!
Aidan
Change the Output-Note on the TD27 Module from C#2 to D#0 (maybe D#1), what happens then?
Hi aidanm,
you are using a Roland Mapping Preset (MIDI In/E-drums), right?
When you do, the note #49 (C#2) gets mapped to note #27 (D#0). IOW, nothing wrong but exactly what is supposed to happen when you have Enabled a MIDI Preset.
If you wish to have a different result, please modify the existing MIDI Preset and save it as your own.
BR,
John
