Does anyone know if toontrack is planning on releasing an update for the Roland TD 27 module to include support for the VH 14 D digital high hat? After all, the TD 27 is one of the most popular modules by one of the most popular brands out there, Roland. All Roland kits that come with the TD 27, now come with the VH 14 D, stock. it just seems kind of cheap of toontrack to expect me to use the TD 50 preset on such a expensive piece of equipment that advertises module compatibility. it seems it’s not even compatible with the base pads that come with the TD 27 at this point.

The td50x does take advantage of the vh14 and the other digital pads. The rest of the pads are just note numbers. Nothing else. The digital pads on the td27 will send the same data as a td50x. What exactly do you want from the preset? Do you understand midi?
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

I’m not wasting any more time with the OP as it looks like any help we give him he really doesn’t want. It doesn’t fit with what he wants.

Boy, you two get pretty upset when someone wants toontrack to update their presets to fully accommodate the most popular modules and the stock pads that come with them. Do you work for toontrack?

What of those terms did I violate? Just curious. I just asked if toontrack was planning an update. Then these two guys started calling me the “OP” and told me to stop complaining. I just wanted to see if anyone knew if an update was planned. The only mistake I see made was maybe the section, for that I apologize. I don’t use forms usually.

“OP” is internet shorthand for ‘original poster’. Seems like you don’t do much on the ‘net.
