TD-25 Positional sensing on the snare?

I have tried every way possible to get the pad to play edge, mid center, and center hit articulations but it still only plays center articulations. I use the roland preset and then I click on #38 under snare and map the settings, if i click on the mouse in each zone I can hear the three articulations but when I hit the pad anywhere on it I only hear the center. I have a TD 25 and my snare is a PDX 100 which has positional sensing. I looked on the menu for the TD 25 and positional sensing is on. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong?

on your roland brain go to; trigger->sens->sensitivity and adjust value, the more the number the louder it will be when you strike

I suggest trying a preset like the TD-30 and try if it works
