Just wondering if the click/ metronome heard in Tap to Find is able to be sync’d to the click/ metronome in your DAW…?
I watched a video promo for EZD2 on youtube and the guy did this:
1. Recorded rhythm electric guitar to a metronome in his DAW
2. Opened EZD2 and used Tap to Find
3. Played the rhythm guitar part he recorded in step 1 via his DAW and as he listened to that guitar he tapped in EZD2 Tap to Find to generate appropriate loops.
4. EZD2 was able to find suitable loops and on he went dropping them into his DAW
When I try to follow this process I find that the metronome playing in EZD2 does not match the metronome/ click in my DAW. In fact when I open Tap to Find the click/ metronome immediately plays. Then if I want to try to Tap to my guitar in my DAW it’s very hard to PLAY the song in the DAW right on the click in EZD2.
I would have thought that tapping away to the tune/ rhythm you recorded would be the best way to go about finding a suitable loop.
So am I missing something? Have I been clear enough?
