I don’t understand why the Randomize and Swing controls for percussions are not working. Any idea why? Would be so useful to add a swing or randomizing to make them feel more real
It’s a limitation to the Futurehit Instruments.
I’m not sure what SD products you own. But if you Search For Instrument and see some percussion there that’s not a Futurehit instrument, you can get those controls to work.

EZD3 can swing a futurhit instrument, so i assume when SD4 comes out this will be resolved, fyi.
Remember, you could always import and audio sample/one-shot for a quick solution. Add Instrument > Import Audio File.
It seems SD3 should have it by default, see attached.
Not sure if this is a complete list because I only looked visually:

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanGood morning, Shootie: how do you identify in this search window that the instrument is a non future hit one?
I choose it and then apply swing. There’s no indicator that I can see. I’m not even sure that futurhit instrument show up in that search since there’s a separate “Add Futurhit Instrument” option in the menu.
