Hi,
im trying to figure out, how to choose the best part from multiple recordings. I found a way how to do in Logic. But after choosing the best takes, I want to have the possibility to use the grid editor in SD3. But if I re-record in SD3 the program adds just the MIDI-notes to the existing recording which sounds wierd. Is there any chance to synchronize the chosen Takes from logic with SD3, or the create different takes without just adding notes to the older take?
There is no way that Superior Drummer 3 can know what take Logic is currently using, since that isn’t a AU standard, it’s something that’s kept inside Logic. So unfortunately, we can’t sync takes with different “takes” in SD3.
The best way to do multiple recordings on the same spot is to create new tracks and record the new variation there. You can switch tracks to hear what version that sounds best. You can create new blank tracks, or duplicate a current track.
