Synthpop / 80s pop drum preset lacking in SD3?

Hi friends!

I’m new to SD3 (purchased it last week)

A buddy asked me to record drums for a track he is making which is in the ‘synthypop’ (or 80s, like eg. aha-take on me, the cure) genre.

I was looking for a quick preset to work from there, but I can’t find anything that really gets close (perhaps some of the ‘roomy’ presets, but its not quite it).

Are there any expansion packs that include such a preset? or do you have any tips/advice on how to create it myself?

Im interested in this also, seems to be a lot of rock kits and I can’t find anything that really fits in with 80s tracks, mainly the toms and cymbals. Might have to get in there and build my own kit, but presets would be better?

I believe the new decades expansion kit has some nice presets to build upon (with an 80s kit).

its basically a lot of (gated) reverb, there are some youtube tutorials on how to make the 80s sound within superior drummer.
