I’ve recently run the High Sierra update 10.12.6 on my Mac Pro. When working on an existing session, Pro Tools crashes whenever I try to switch to multichannel in the mixer of EZD2. I am running the current version. Anyone else?
Hi,
are you running your Session at anything else than 44,1kHz?
If so, your issue should be located and addressed in an upcoming update.

Im having the same problem sending them as individual tracks, I’m on a deadline, when is the update out?
I am running at 48k. However, I reloaded the plugin and it seems to work now.
I’m running 48 k too….it crashes every time I try to route individual drum pieces to audio tracks… u just reloaded the program?

when is this update coming? it keeps on crashing my system and I’m beyond anger and dissapinment
I have no ETA but please try inserting a new instance in your Session.
I’m not sure if Daniel meant he re-installed the latest update or just inserted a new instance but please try both.

I deleted the instance that was causing the crash, then created a new instrument track and opened a new EZD2 instance.
I have been using EZD2 in my 48k sessions for about a year without any problems until I upgraded to High Sierra from Sierra.
Right now, multichannel is working in my 48k session.

I UNINSTALLED ALL EZDRUMMER RELATED STUFF, THEN RE INSTALLED INCLUDING UPDATES AND PRO TOOLS IS STILL CRASHING EVERY TIME I TRY ROUTING THE INDIVIDUAL PIECES…ITS ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING
When you change the routing, sample rate needs to be 44.1 kHz. Afterwards, you can change the sample rate to 48k.

Wait…what? I can’t change sample rates on a session that s already at 48, so you are saying I’m basically out of luck with EVERY project that has EZ drummer already on it? I usually don’t route the drums till the mixing process, if thats what you are saying then I’m going to be seeking a refund for the expansions I just bought because that would render them useless to me now and in the future, there was absolutely no warning saying ” hey watch out our plugin will only work on 41 after the latest update” ,
This is pretty outrageous
This was not intended, it is a bug and an update that fixes it is coming soon.
You can’t change sample rate in existing projects? Hm, then you could do like this: select Save Project from EZdrummer’s menu, open standalone, load that project, change the outputs, save it and finally load it in your instance in the DAW.

that would delete all my created drums on that session, what do u mean by coming soon? I was supose to start mixing those projects this week, I don’t understand how am I the only one having this problem
The workaround I told you now with save/load project would not delete any drums.
The update needs a few days of testing still. If no issue is found, I’d expect it out early next week.
