Do you mean that if you tell SD3 to use only one core but you tell Logic
to use as many cores as it finds use for then you get these same problematic
    noises and crashes?

    Hello Olle,
In Logic settings, the number of threads is set to Automatic and Superior Drummer is loaded with setting to 1 core.
I tried to readjust it today. It was first loaded standard Ayotte set the Superior 3.0.3, I played a bit, it does not crack, then I have a Yamaha set the Progresiv Foundry loaded (even created in Superior 2), then crashed Logic off with a crash Message. The same preset saved as Superior 3.0.3 Preset works without problems even with the setting to 8 cores. Other presets, for example from Allaire, work perfectly.
In stand-alone mode, the standard Ayotte preset already crackled when set to 8 cores and 64 samples, I set to 128 and the crackle and humming disappear.
Is it best to save all old presets of Superior Drummer 2 as new presets in Superior Drummer 3?
Funny is the Logic with setting to 64 samples without crackling runs, in contrast to standalone version, the system load is higher.
I still upload the crash report from Logic today.
    Many greetings
    Roland
