Some kits use surround channels…how do they technically work? If someone has a Dolby Surround system, these channels are audible, correct? What, if someone hasn’t surround? Will they be silent? Or added to the stereo mix somehow?
What if I mix my kit using surround channels BUT do not have a surround system? Then I can’t hear what Dolby Surround users hear.
Please explain how it works. 🙂
