Superior users deserve some love

Hi, not saying anything new here, and not trying to antagonise ( yes I am ), but having been a user of your flagship product since its inception I’m getting genuinely sick of receiving emails about how fabulous ezdrummer is and how I should probably buy another ezx because it’s summer somewhere on the planet. Each time I see a TT email I hope it’s got the news I’m waiting for, in vain. The groove search features alone in ez2 are insultingly not available to your pro users (yes, we use grooves too), obviously they will be in 3, but I have to get it off my chest – really, really crap not to have offered it as part of an update to the faithful. Great product guys, but really disappointingly corporate decision making. Starting to sniff around my free Logic Kits lately.

I agree. I did not see any videos showing how you can add any kits drom SD2 or any SDX to the kit. (maybe I missed it?) For now, I guess you could use ED2 to write the arrangement of the song,.. then export the midi into your host program where you’d have SD2 set up with the multi outs/fx/eq/busses set up already. That might be worth the purchase alone. SD2 users should get 50% discount!! 😉

I would like to find out whats coming in SD3.

For now, the tip I can give, is to use EZdrummer 2 as the MIDI source and run the sounds from Superior Drummer 2. Enable “MIDI out” from EZdrummer 2 and feed that MIDI straight into SD2, by doing that you don’t have to keep exporting the MIDI you want to use in SD2.

Henrik I don’t want to buy EZ Drummer 2, I’ve put hundreds of dollars into SD for years. I’d like the pro version to be updated to have features that the toy version has. To not be able to relocate midi has for years been the biggest PIA in what is otherwise a great piece of software. If you modernise SD you say “Thanks guys for staying the course and enabling us to develop our products and release countless sdx’s, we wouldn’t be here without your early adoption”. Etc
