I’m using a M2 Mac Studio, 1TB SSD, 64GB memory running Ventura 13.6.1 OS – Pro Tools Studio on
One instance of Superior Drummer works perfect (no lag) no matter what I’m running with it.
When I load a second instance, I have to nudge the track so it matches beat.
I’ve tried a new session with only 2 instances of Superior drummer and no routing. The exact same problem exists. Always on instance is lagging. Sometimes both will even lag.
I’ve changed the buffer size in the playback engine and the problem still exists.
Any Ideas?
I’m not a PT user, let alone export, but it sounds like some delay compensation setting on your DAW in this case.
I’m not experiencing this behaviour in Logic.

Not seeing this issue (yet, hopefully I can reproduce), are you playing both instances from Pro Tools tracks or from SD3 tracks?

If you have a simple Pro Tools session it’s happening with, could you zip it and post it here. I’ll take a look.
