Superior Drummer 3 via Auxes in Pro Tools Studio not syncing with audio tracks

I have superior drummer tracks routed via aux tracks so I can mix the drums in pro tools. However, the drums tracks are not in time with the rest of the audio tracks in the session.When I monitor the drums through the internal SD3 mixer, everything syncs just fine. The lag only happens when I route out of SD3 through pro tools aux tracks. What could be happening here, what am I missing?
