Is SD3 plugin in the MacHD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder? Does SD3 open in standalone? Can you force Logic to rescan the plugins?

It opens normally for me, no issues at all

Open no issue here as well.

check your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder for a duplicate installation of Superior Drummer 3

Did you sort your problem? Same issue here. SD3 only opens the plugin  in rosetta mode for me.

Did you check the plugin manager to see if Superior Drummer is validated? Have you also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Superior Drummer?

Yes it’s in the plugin manager as authorised but it wont let me revalidate it like my other plugins just scam and that does nothing.  I don’t really wanna try deleting and reinstalling as it’s on an external hd.

Edit support had me reinstalled the SD3 software but that didn’t work either.

You can try deleting Logic’s cache files.

Just tried that and no luck unfortunately.

Yes it’s in the plugin manager

What version number is it showing?

Another thing you can check is from the Finder, enter shift-cmd-G and enter ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components and check to see if there is an instance of Superior Drummer in there. If there is, trash it and then restart Logic.

Trashing the component worked for me and gave me the option of multi output mode as well which was missing in rosetta. Now SD3 works in both rosetta and silicon. Thank you so much.
