operating system: Mac m2pro chip Sonoma
daw: protools 2024
issue: double hitting and just adding hits
This issues happens when I have a full session open and plugins are on such as neural eqs etc
I have superior sent up multi out so I can record to protools. When I print the midi and or just hit the kit. I get like a doubling effect almost sounds like one hit double triggers etc. prints like shit etc it started a while back. I have used old protools 2018 and the new protools.
the fix…… if I deactivate all the tracks not used and or I kill all plugins it prints and sounds fast but I can not have any plugins on besides superior drummer
I have a M2pro model good ram the memory pressure is light yellow and not even 20 percent of system usage . I have tried changing buffer sizes etc and nothing works but disabling plugins and or deactivation tracks
any advice?

Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.3.7
Operating system: macOS Sonoma (14)
Hi there,
Does it happen on all sessions or a specific PT session. If all sessions, could you post a small session, with SD3 and a few plugins included with PT so we might figure out what’s up with that?
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
It sounds like a latency compensation issue in PT. As Brad indicated, post a PT session without audio.
jord
no problem what’s needed in the session just a copy in of a session? Also is there upload limits or file types here

Jord mentioned uploading the session without any audio, which should make it lighter. You will need to archive it into a zip file in order to upload it as well.
