I’m working on some rock songs which use about 60% swing on the 16ths. I found some SD3 grooves I want to use, but can find nothing in the manual about dealing with swing in the song composer, grid editor, or Tap 2 Find. So my general question is … how does Superior Drummer deal with swing? Or does it?
the [SEARCH] function in the SD3 turned up quite a few references to using & defining ‘swing’

Thanked by: JohnWhoops …. sorry! Thought I did a search on “swing” and came up empty handed. Must have been swinging blind.
Got my swing thing grooving now, thx.
How to swing your drum region using Toontrack in Logic Pro
There may be other ways. This is how I do it –
(1) Save your drum channel plugin settings to your user area;
(2) Right click & convert your non-swung Toontrack drum region to drummer region;
(3) Using Logic Pro’s drummer edit tool, adapt your swing-setting to preference and lock;
(4) Right click & convert to midi;
(5) reload Toontrack through your plugins;
(6) go to your saved user area and recall your Toontrack drummer settings
Enjoy! Jim.
Or simply select your kit piece articulations in Superior Drummer 3’s grid editor that you want to swing and adjust the swing slider. No complicated steps… it’s as simple as that.
Gotta love these night of the living threads.
