Superior Drummer 3 and MacBook Pro (Slow GUI)

Hi,

I’ve been having this issue for a while, and I just want to know if it’s normal for users with MacBook Pro (in my case MacBook Pro 15 2018 i7 2.6 560x) to have sluggish GUI performance when running SD3 in DAW.  I’ve experienced this in Cubase and Pro Tools. Mojave and Catalina. I don’t have the same issue on my Windows PC.

Hi,

I have not experienced it on a similar MacBook Pro but please try to go to System Preferences > Displays > Color and select “sRGB IEC61966-2.1.”.

This could have a positive effect.

Yes, that helped a great deal. But I’m curious about the fact that you said that you didn’t experience that on a similar MacBook Pro. I’m sure I have properly functioning laptop, so what could be the culprit here? Again, the thing you said I should do helped, so thank you.
