I have got this programme up and running but I cant access it from Cubase. Can anybody help?

Is that version of Cubase 64-bit? S3 is 64-bit only.

Open Cubase – Choose Help – About Cubase

It should state whether it is a 64-bit or 32-bit installation. If there is no reference to either 32-bit or 64-bit, then it is a 32-bit installation.

If it’s 32-bit, S3 won’t work with it. S3 is 64-bit only.

Looking at Steinberg’s site, Cubase SE is on the unsupported list and hasn’t been updated in a while. I’m also willing to bet that it was one of those that came pre-packaged with a hardware device to get you going, and if it was, they usually don’t support VSTs outside of what comes with it.
