(OSX Catalina Latest version)
My head is exploding right now. I loaded up superior to play some drums and wanted to throw on a drum loop while I jammed over top. This leads me down a dark tunnel of headaches.
I was greeted with the message “no midi library found”. So I tried to relink but I can’t find where the heck the superior 3 midi files are. So I decided to open Toontrack product manager and install them again rather than continue hunting for this bizarrely missing library. I did this. Midi install success! But where the heck did it install?? Superior still tells me there is no library and In product manager under “PATH” there is nothing for the midi. When installing midi they don’t let you chose a path. So, it’s installing apparently, but who the heck knows where…including superior 3.
Not only that but then I tried to add an alternative path in superior to my groove monkey library. It tells me there are no midi files there.
So anyways, something is seriously wrong and my afternoon of jamming is not happening. Any thoughts? I’m going to go grab a drink for now.
Did you check your /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/Midi (system root and not your user location) folder to see if there are any MIDI grooves there? That’s the standard location.
