With some quick tests I haven’t been able to reproduce anything like this. Could you please save and upload a SD3 project file (select “File > Save As” within SD3), take a screenshot of the mixer how it should be (how it is when you save) and also upload the preset? Is it a “Drums and Mixer” user preset?

If you could help us reproduce this issue, Phil, we may have time still to include a fix in the next update.

Hi Olof, The issue did persist for a week or so and then seemed to fix itself. As a matter of interest and perhaps coincidence, the problem went away when I updated Studio One to version 4.5.4 Build 54067.

I have no idea if this update had anything to do with the problem with SD3. I can now save presets and have them reinstate without issue.

Also worth noting is that at the same time as I was having this problem with SD3 I was also having a terrible and non fixable problem with Studio One 4.

After 2 weeks of sheer hell…..and many conversations with Presonus (even having them remotely check my computer) the problem was solved by going back to an older version of Studio One 4.

This is when I started having problems with S3. This problem stopped when I updated to the latest Studio One 4 release. Turns out that I was not the only one having problems with Studio One 4. The update also solved their problems.

But as I say, I really don’t know if it had anything to do with the S3 problem or it was just a coincidence. S3 is working as expected now.

Sorry I can’t be of more help.

I had a similar issue with the main volume kept reverting back after closing and reopening the window. I tracked it down to a Macro setting for volume. I deleted the macro setting for each preset I worked on that had it and that resolved the issue.

Ah, yes, that’s a bug we have fixed for the next update.

Good to hear, and good to know it’s indeed a bug! I was going nuts. Then I loaded some other presets and it didn’t happen so I knew it had to be something in the preset. Immediately looked at the macros and scrolled all the way down to the first couple and there it was, a single volume macro.
